PRIVACY POLICY
How Dork handles personal information, cookies, and data security.
At Dork, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our website. In particular, Dork is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.
We may collect some or all of the information you provide depending on the type of transaction you enter into, including your name, address, telephone number and email address, together with data about your use of the website. Other information needed from time to time to process a request may also be collected where indicated.
We use collected information primarily to process the task for which you visited the website. Data collected in the UK is held in accordance with applicable data protection law. We take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorised access to this information.
Our website uses cookies to improve your experience. You can prevent your browser from accepting cookies, but if you do, some functionality on the website may be impaired.
We do not disclose personal information obtained through this website to third parties unless you permit us to do so (for example, by opting in via relevant form controls). We may also use your information to keep in contact and inform you of related developments. You can remove yourself from mailing communications at any time.
We may provide non-identifying, aggregated information to third parties, such as total website visitor numbers. This information does not identify individual users.
We may work with third parties to deliver targeted behavioural advertising. Through cookies, anonymous information about your use of our websites and other websites may be used to provide adverts that are more relevant to your interests. For more information and opt-out controls, visit youronlinechoices.com/opt-out.

Returns & Refunds
If you buy a physical product from Dork (a magazine issue, merchandise, or a print subscription) you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us at shop@readdork.com with your order details. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. Return postage is your responsibility unless the goods are faulty or were sent in error. Once we have received the goods back (or evidence you have sent them), we will refund the price you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days.
For digital products and digital subscriptions (including Dork+ digital), the 14-day cancellation right ends as soon as the digital content is supplied or the service begins, where you have given express consent to immediate access and acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel. By starting a digital subscription you confirm both. Where a service has only partially been provided during the cancellation period, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the service supplied.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you also have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. After 30 days, we will offer a repair or replacement; if that is not possible or fails, you are entitled to a refund, which may be reduced to reflect any use you have had of the goods.
To exercise any of these rights, email shop@readdork.com with your order number and the reason for return. These rights apply to consumers in the United Kingdom; buyers outside the UK should also refer to their local consumer law, which may offer different or additional protections.
Any updates to this Privacy Policy will be published on this page and will supersede previous versions. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information we hold. Please submit requests via our support channels so we can route them securely.
The Dork Radio iOS app does not collect user data when installed or launched. The Dork Radio Android app does not collect user data during use. To provide audio controls, the app may monitor phone state (for example: idle/in call/call ended) where applicable, but it does not listen to calls or access phone numbers. The Android app also uses local storage to save configuration for faster launch.
