The Academic have shared their new single 'Acting My Age', from their EP of the same name.

Due this Friday, 10th July, the indie foursome's new record was produced by former Kaiser Chiefs drummer and songwriter Nick Hodgson.

"[It's about] being young and growing up, but perhaps more about the growing up side of things," frontman Craig Fitzgerald explains in the July issue of Dork.

"It's basically all about accepting that anybody can make a mistake, but it doesn't make you a bad person. Accept the mistake for what it is."

Give 'Acting My Age' a watch below, and keep an eye out for the EP later this week.
