The 1975 get loved up on their new single 'Me & You Together Song'

The 1975 have debuted the latest track from their forthcoming fourth album, 'Notes on a Conditional Form'.

Titled 'Me & You Together Song', it's a jangly, loved-up gem, which you can stream in full below, and read our first thoughts on the track here. It was debuted on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show, where the band played it live as her Hottest Record.

It comes a few days after the band's Matty Healy confirmed 'Notes on a Conditional Form', originally slated for a 21st February release, will now be out on 24th April.

Taking to Instagram to confirm the news, which first broke via an Apple Music listing, he confirmed the band were "really proud" of the album, and for "the sake of a couple of months, in the grand scheme of it it doesn't make any difference".

He went on to confirm that there'll be further new songs in February, March and right before the album in April. All the new tracks will be played "intermittently" on their forthcoming UK tour, which kicks off this February. Matty compared it to the way the band debuted new material on their live dates in the run up to the release of 'I Like It When You Sleep...'.

Because you lot 'like that sort of thing', here's the lyrics to 'Me & You Together Song':

I CAN’T REMEMBER WHEN WE MET BECAUSE SHE DIDN’T HAVE HER TOP ON

I IMPROVISED A LITTLE BIT, SHE SAID MY REFERENCES WERE ‘SPOT ON’

‘CAN I TAKE YOU FOR A DRINK?’ - SHE SAID “OH GOD, I’LL HAVE TO THINK. BECAUSE WE’RE MATES, IT DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT!?”

AND I SAID “IT’S COOL” AND “I WAS MESSING” BUT IT’S TRUE - YEAH IT’S YOU, YOU’RE THE ONE THAT MAKES ME FEEL RIGHT

I’VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH HER FOR AGES - AND I CAN’T SEEM TO GET IT RIGHT - I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER IN STAGES, MY WHOLE LIFE

I HAD A DREAM WHERE WE HAD KIDS - YOU WOULD COOK, I’D DO THE NAPPIES

WE WENT TO ‘WINTER WONDERLAND’ AND IT WAS SHIT BUT WE WERE HAPPY

I’M SORRY THAT I’M KINDA QUEER, IT’S NOT AS WEIRD AS IT APPEARS - IT’S COS MY BODY DOESN’T STOP ME

OH IT’S OK, LOTS OF PEOPLE THINK I’M GAY - BUT WE’RE FRIENDS, SO IT’S COOL, WHY WOULD IT NOT BE?

I’VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH HER FOR AGES - AND I CANT SEEM TO GET IT RIGHT - I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER IN STAGES - MY WHOLE LIFE

THERE’S BEEN NO WAY FOR ME TO SAY THAT I FELT A CERTAIN WAY, IN STAGES - OH I THINK OUR STORY NEEDS MORE PAGES COS..

I’VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH HER FOR AGES

(YEAH IT’S TRUE, IT CANT BE HER, IT MUST BE YOU) I’VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH YOU FOR AGES

(YEAH IT’S YOU)
