Marina (formerly-and-the-Diamonds) is going to drop new music or somesuch next week

Marina’s been teasing her new music for a while now, and it looks like it’s finally happening.

Posting on Instagram, she reveals she has something coming in “8 days”, which should be next week’s New Music Friday, so hopefully means new music, right?

She’s previously suggested she’d release a new song in January, with the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Froot’ arriving in April.

"I want to tell people details all the time but I can't because I have been planning it for ages," she told PopBuzz last year.

"It's not really conceptual in ways like Electra Heart was but there is a concept in terms of how it's going to be released that you will find out in April but I am going to release a new song in January.”

Feelin' hypersonic: Sam Fender

Sam Fender is a man on a mission. Already beating current ‘biggest noise on the block’ Lewis Capaldi to a Brit Award, as his debut album nears its much-anticipated arrival, the sky really is the limit for an artist not short of stuff to say.
