How to nail a middle of the day UK festival set, by Billie Eilish at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend

This weekend, old auntie Beeb threw a massive party in Middlesbrough.

Big Weekend saw loads of huge and upcoming names descend on 'the north' for a three day blow up that was also broadcast on 'the airwaves', both radio and tellybox.

That means there's a whole heap of live performances to watch, including this one from Billie Eilish, who smashed her half-way-through-the-day set on Saturday (25th May). You can watch her 'do' 'Bury A Friend', if you need evidence.

They joined other acts, including The 1975, Foals, Miley Cyrus, Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, Charli XCX and Vampire Weekend in performing at the event.

Check out the video below.

Feelin' hypersonic: Sam Fender

Sam Fender is a man on a mission. Already beating current ‘biggest noise on the block’ Lewis Capaldi to a Brit Award, as his debut album nears its much-anticipated arrival, the sky really is the limit for an artist not short of stuff to say.
