Ashton Irwin is teasing his upcoming solo debut with new single, 'Scar'.

Following on from 'Have U Found What Ur Looking For', it's the latest taster from the 5 Seconds of Summer member's record 'Superbloom', which will arrive on 23rd October.

The full-length was recorded after Ashton noted an empty touring and recording schedule with 5SOS at the start of lockdown. Made in his LA home with his producer husemate Matt Pauling, a press release lists influences including "Foo Fighters, Nick Drake, Helmet, Silverchair, Stone Temple Pilots, My Bloody Valentine, & Curve".

“‘Scar’ is a song fueled by resilience when the world beats you down,” explains Ashton. “This is a critical stand out song on ‘Superbloom’. It inspires mental resilience, at a time when the world seemingly needs it most!”.

Once tipped for trampolining stardom (yes, really), Edinburgh native Bow Anderson has hit her stride this year with a handful of irresistibly- retro pop tunes that couldn't have come from anyone else.
