With a couple-of-hundred strong crowd gathered around the BBC Introducing Stage, it’s easy to see why Reading locals Valeras have garnered such interest. Moody, sullen jams that hold as much bite as they do bark, the three guitars create a walled sound, while the bass dances around. Recent single ‘Painkiller’ is a highlight.
