Bloxx bring out their fuzzy toe-tappers at Reading 2018

The band wake up Saturday's Festival Republic tent.

Drawing the early risers into the Festival Republic tent with their woozy indie tunes are London four-piece Bloxx.

Singer Ophelia Booth apologises for losing her voice singing along to another band's set the previous night, but she needn't bother, she's sounding great. Her bandmates anchor their fuzzy toe-tappers with some very 90s guitars that let Booth's dreamlike melodies float along on the midday breeze.

Having already been out supporting the likes of The Wombats, Pale Waves and Sundara Karma, it feels like they're one release away from stepping out on their own steam. With an EP in the works, we shouldn’t have to wait too long.
