Vagabon has dropped alternate versions of her tunes, ‘In A Bind’ and ‘Wits About You’

Vagabon has dropped alternate versions of two tunes from her recent self-titled album.

‘In A Bind (Strings Version)’ - which also comes with a video, directed by Meagan Houang - and ‘Wits About You (Saxophone Version)’ arrive ahead of a North American spring headline tour that kicks off in Philadelphia on 31st March.

“When recording ‘In a Bind’ for the album, I struggled with what arrangement was best for this song," she explains. "Originally, I thought it should include soaring strings and be very theatrical and dramatic.

"A few days before I was meant to hand in the album, I did away with the strings and found that to be the best decision given the context of the album as a whole.”

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
