Pop is the greatest musical art-form. Sorry, you Real Music Warriors, but that’s written loud and proud in the Dork rule book.

This month, we’re living in giddy times for pop connoisseurs. From a new record from last month’s cover star MØ, to the long-awaited return of Queen of Scandopop Robyn, there’s more than our fair share of ice cold brilliance to grasp hold of.

But the imminent release schedule isn’t the only place we’re finding great things. The cover of this month’s edition of Dork features the fast-rising Maggie Rogers - a fearsome talent who has literally just announced her debut album 'Heard It In A Past Life', set to arrive early in 2019. A true force of nature, she’s one to get very, very excited about, as the many people won over by her brilliant work to date will agree.

Elsewhere this issue, we celebrate the return of Sundara Karma, who have dropped a brand new single heralding a brave new direction. Kurt Vile gives us parking advice, LANY turn lemons into lemonade and Parcels tell all about their mind-fizzing debut. Basement shift things up a gear, Blaenavon give us some hints on their second full-length ahead of their UK tour, and King Nun show just how far they've come with an EP that sees them fulfil their huge potential.

In Hype, we talk to Sam Fender and Fontaines D.C., and get tips from the boys in Spring King, plus check in with Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys and St. Vincent in our live music section Get Out.

That's just some of what you'll find in this month's edition of Dork. Available from 12th October (that's this Friday), you can pre-order a copy below, or subscribe here.
