The National have announced five new intimate shows.

Dubbed A Special Evening With The National, the short tour will see them play Paris, New York, London - at the Royal Festival Hall - Toronto and Los Angeles this April.

The details are:

APRIL
16 Paris at Olympia
18 London at Royal Festival Hall
22 NYC at Beacon Theatre
24 Toronto at Roy Thomson Hall
26 LA at Orpheum Theatre

Tickets for the London date go on sale this Monday, 4th March at 10am.
