The Kooks are going to play a warm-up show ahead of London festival Community

The Kooks have announced a new one-off show.

They'll play O2 Academy Oxford on 28th June, with tickets going on sale from 10am on Friday, 31st May.

The date will take place ahead of their bill-topping set at Community (30th June), as well as sets at Sound of The City (12th July) and TRNSMT (14th July).

Also playing Community this year are Blossoms, Kate Nash, Blaenavon, The Amazons, The Hunna, Sea Girls, SWMRS, APRE, Bloxx, Fuzzy Sun and more.

The band recently returned with new single ‘Got Your Number’, their first new music since last year’s full-length ‘Let’s Go Sunshine’.

Feelin' hypersonic: Sam Fender

Sam Fender is a man on a mission. Already beating current ‘biggest noise on the block’ Lewis Capaldi to a Brit Award, as his debut album nears its much-anticipated arrival, the sky really is the limit for an artist not short of stuff to say.

It’s over eight years since Friendly Fires released their last album, but - after a prolonged period away - they’re finally back on the dancefloor with the shimmering ‘Inflorescent’.
