Stephen Malkmus has announced his new album, 'Traditional Techniques'.

Billed as "new phase folk music for new phase folks" and due out 6th March via Domino, the news is accompanied by lead single 'Xian Man' and a North American tour, which will see him take him third solo record on the road throughout April.

The tracklisting reads:
