Slowthai has announced some new headline shows, the ‘Bet Ya A £5er’ tour

Slowthai has announced a new UK headline tour.

The ‘Bet Ya A £5er’ tour will head out on 13th October in support of his just-dropped debut album ‘Nothing Great About Britain’, and includes a night at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

Recorded for the most part with producer Kwes Darko in East London - Mura Masa and Slaves produced ‘Doorman’ and ‘Missing’ respectively - the full-length came out last week via Method Records.

“Music to me is the biggest connector of people,” says slowthai. “It don’t matter what social circle you’re from, it bonds people across divides. And that’s why I do music: to bridge the gap and bring people together.”

The tour will visit:

OCTOBER
13 Newcastle University - Newcastle
14 SWG3 - Glasgow
16 Manchester Academy - Manchester
17 O2 Academy Bristol - Bristol
18 O2 Academy Brixton - London
