Silverbacks announce debut album ‘Fad’ with new track ‘Muted Gold’

Dublin’s Silverbacks have revealed details of their debut album, along with new track ‘Muted Gold’

A shuffling number full of tense push and pull, ‘Muted Gold’ leads the charge for ‘Fad’ - their full-length debut set to land on July 17th, produced by Girl Band’s Daniel Fox

‘Fad’ comes complete with a music video to boot - with Silverbacks’ Daniel O’Kelly commenting: "The video is loosely inspired by early Stereolab music videos. It's a collection of clips from a few band outings we had near our practice space before the lockdown began. Fun fact, Peadar used to work in a bowling alley. Despite not having played in years he scored 192 on the day we brought the camera.”

Silverbacks are currently scheduled to tour the UK on a headline run from the end of August. Check out ‘Muted Gold’ in the meantime below:
