Shannon Lay has shared her new track, ‘August’

Shannon Lay has shared her new track, ‘August’.

It’s a cut from her upcoming record, which was co-produced by Ty Segall and is due for release on 23rd August via Sub Pop.

"August is a declaration,” she explains. “I will live my life the way I want to live it and only accept the opportunities that bring me joy. Music has become something that feels much bigger than I am. I fully embrace the immensity of it all and will grow with it every day."

Shannon also has some shows coming up, headlining London’s SET Dalston on 21st October, and supporting Mikal Cronin early next year.

Check out ‘August’ below.
