Sam Fender has announced a huge hometown headline show

Sam Fender has announced a huge hometown headline show later this year.

Taking over the grounds of Tynemouth Castle on 11th July, Sam will be hand-picking a full supporting line-up for his favourite local acts.

The first band confirmed for the 4,000 capacity show are local stalwarts Little Comets.

Tickets go on pre-sale at 9am on Wednesday, 13th February, with general sale starting on Friday, 15th February.

“It’s so surreal for us to be playing at Tynemouth Castle," Sam says. "It couldn’t be much closer to home. I’ve got so many mad stories of us all running around here as kids and it’s mental that we’re going to be playing at an actual castle!

"The place is stunning, it’s like the North East’s very own Helm’s Deep! Really, really cannot wait for this!”
