Romy Madley-Croft from The xx has launched her solo debut, 'Lifetime'

Romy Madley-Croft from The xx has 'gone solo'.

Her debut single, 'Lifetime' was written and recorded in London during lockdown, looking ahead to meeting up with loved ones and revelling in "being totally in the moment and celebrating it," she says.

It's accompanied by a lyric video too, created by designer Patrick Savile and animator Connor Campbell - check it out below.

The xx's most recent album 'I See You' came out in 2017.

Once tipped for trampolining stardom (yes, really), Edinburgh native Bow Anderson has hit her stride this year with a handful of irresistibly- retro pop tunes that couldn't have come from anyone else.
