Fontaines D.C., SOAK and more have joined the bill for Butlins festival, Rockaway Beach

Butlins festival Rockaway Beach has announced a few new acts for its January 2020 event.

New to the bill are headliners The Jesus & Mary Chain and Fontaines D.C., as well as Soak, The Wedding Present and Heavy Lungs.

“It’s the first time we’ve invited a band to headline ahead of even their debut album being released,” say the organisers, “but at no point was there ever a shred of doubt that it simply had to be Fontaines D.C. in the spot next January.

“There’s only a few bands that come along with that inescapable fire in their eyes. The momentum behind them is undeniable. It just had to be done and we know our audience will stand with us.”

The festival will take place at Butlins in Bognor Regis from 10th-12th January.
