Poliça are back with a new album and a bunch of tour dates

Poliça are back with a new album, and a bunch of tour dates.

'When We Stay Alive' will arrive on 31st January via Memphis Industries, preceded by lead single 'Driving', which was inspired by Channy Leaneagh's recovery after falling off her roof while clearing ice in early 2018.

"Laying in bed, as I healed from a 10 foot fall of carelessness with my life, I would dream of running in green grass and tears would pour from my eyes," she explains. "“Running in the tall tear grass; imagine wanting life and the want remains.” That is a feeling to hold onto; that life is worth living even when all the towers are crumbling and this goes beyond my own little accident but the world around me. Following the crone into the sinking ship and having the chance to return without a shadow. Drive on, Drive on. A second chance you won’t forget."

Check out 'Driving' below, and catch the band on tour at the following:

FEBRUARY
7 Bristol, UK - Thekla
8 Manchester, UK - Gorilla
10 Glasgow, UK - St. Lukes
11 London, UK - Village Underground
12 Brighton, UK - Concorde 2

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world, and stuck there for bloody ages. However quick it felt for, well, everyone - for Aussie popster Toni Watson her journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.

Are you ready for a new favourite band? North London's Sorry are low-key cult faves with an immense banger-ratio, and a stonking debut album.
