Pizzagirl has shared the final taster from his debut album - check out 'yesterday'

Pizzagirl has shared his new single, 'yesterday'.

It's a track from his upcoming debut album 'first timer' - due 11th October via Heist or Hit - and arrives ahead of a November headline tour, too.

"It's like a weird Frankenstein mash-up album," he explains in the November issue of Dork (out, erm, 'soon'). "I think a lot of the people who like 80s music might like something.

"Kelly Clarkson is a huge influence on one of the songs, a bit of pop-punk, some Blade Runner, 70s ballads; I want to tick off the boxes of pop through time in this album and pay my respects in my most primitive way."

Check out 'yesterday' below.

Mystery Jets: "You never know what the future holds"

At the back end of last year, Mystery Jets were all prepped to drop their brand new album. Then they weren’t. Six months later and a band-member down, they’re back on track (pretty much) and ready to go.

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
