Oscar Lang's got a new EP on the way, and a new tour

Oscar Lang's got a new EP, and a new tour.

'Overthink' features his recent single 'Flowers', alongside 'Easy To Love', 'January Leaves', 'Feeling Like A Rose', and 'Applaud', and will arrive via Dirty Hit on 6th March.

“The Overthunk EP is influenced by my previous indie-pop sound but mixed with some 60s folk and psychedelia that I grew up listening to,” Lang explains. “I wanted to write songs that were still strong even if you just played them on an acoustic guitar. It’s the style of music I’ve been writing ever since I started.”

The tour meanwhile will kick off on 20th April in Manchester:

APRIL
20 Soup Kitchen, Manchester
21 Broadcast, Glasgow
22 O2 Academy 2, Newcastle
23 O2 Academy 3, Birmingham
24 Notting Hill Arts Club, London

You can also catch Oscar at Live At Leeds, and the Great Escape this spring.

At the back end of last year, Mystery Jets were all prepped to drop their brand new album. Then they weren’t. Six months later and a band-member down, they’re back on track (pretty much) and ready to go.

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
