Newcomer Matilda Mann has released a brand new track, 'The Fucking Best'

Matilda Mann has released a brand new track, taken from a forthcoming debut EP.

With the reassuring co-sign of having toured alongside Dork fave Beabadoobee, 'The Fucking Best' is - well - write your own reviews, if you like, but she's basically done it for us.

"'The Fucking Best' is the most petty song ever," Matilda explains. "It’s about people who Just seem to have it all together and are still nice people - they’re just the fucking best and everyone loves them. LOL. And it’s kind of wishing you were like that."

Obviously, nobody actually has it all together. We are all but swans in the pond of life, kicking about like mad bastards. But that, Dear Reader, is not 'the point'.

What is, is her first collection of songs. Titled 'It All Makes Sense', it'll be out on 6th February. With that done, she'll play a sold out EP launch at London's Servant Jazz Quarters on 12th February.

You can check out 'The Fucking Best' below.

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
