Muncie Girls' Lande Hekt is going to release a new solo EP

Muncie Girls' Lande Hekt is going to release a new solo EP.

‘Gigantic Disappointment’ - which saw Lande recording in Australia - is due on 15th November, and you can check out lead single 'Carpet' below.

“It was the first time I’ve ever played all the instruments on a recording before,” Lande says. “We recorded a guide guitar track and then I recorded the drums along to that, then bass, then guitar, then vocals, then extras.

"It was 37c every day and the studio is self-sustainable so it was nice to be drinking rainwater, but it was warm rainwater. Every day two kangaroos would come to the house and stare at us.”

She'll perform a handful of live dates around the release, with Soot Sprite:

NOVEMBER
18 Bristol, The Exchange
19 Exeter, The Cavern
21 Brighton, Rossi Bar

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
