Liam Gallagher has announced the world premiere of his upcoming film, Liam Gallagher: As It Was

Liam Gallagher has announced the world premiere of his upcoming film, Liam Gallagher: As It Was.

It will first air on Thursday 6th June at London’s Alexandra Palace Theatre, followed by an exclusive live performance which will be shown live in cinemas across the UK and Ireland.

Tickets for the premiere are on sale this afternoon (Thursday 2nd May) at 4pm, while tickets for the cinema screenings go on sale tomorrow.

The film’s blurb reads: “LIAM GALLAGHER: AS IT WAS documents the musical comeback of the decade; an honest and emotional story of how one of the most iconic rock ‘n’ roll frontmen went from the dizzying heights of his champagne supernova years in Oasis to finding himself ostracised and on the periphery of the rock ‘n’ roll world.

“Starting again alone, stripped bare and with nowhere to hide, Liam risks everything to make the greatest rock ‘n’ roll comeback of all time, battling against the odds to return to the top of the charts.

“Directors Charlie Lightening and Gavin Fitzgerald invite us backstage for a no-holds barred look at the life of one of the most talked-about and charismatic artists of his generation.”
