King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have new material “coming soon”

Despite somehow managing to put out five albums last year, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have new material on the way.

“NeW. MuSiC. CoMiNg. SoOn,” the band tease online, alongside a photo from inside the studio - check it out below. There’s naff all other information about yet, of course.

Thanks to last year’s efforts, the band are in with a shot at the Australian Music Prize, alongside Courtney Barnett, Troye Sivan, and Confidence Man. A shortlist of nine releases will be revealed soon, ahead of the winner’s announcement in March.

Sam Fender is a man on a mission. Already beating current ‘biggest noise on the block’ Lewis Capaldi to a Brit Award, as his debut album nears its much-anticipated arrival, the sky really is the limit for an artist not short of stuff to say.
