If Foo Fighters aren't headlining Reading & Leeds 2019 we will eat our bucket hats

Foo Fighters have announced a pair of Irish shows for next August, conveniently close to the dates for next summer's Reading & Leeds festivals.

Dave and his merry band of manly men will play Belfast's Vital Festival on 19th August, then Dublin's RDS Arena on August 21st.

Reading & Leeds 2019 kicks off two days later on Friday 23rd August, with a line-up announcement apparently due later this week.

Basically, Foo Fighters are definitely one of the three Reading & Leeds headliners - something they apparently haven't done since 2012. It seems like it was just yesterday, eh?

When it comes to other Reading & Leeds headliners, popular festival site eFestivals 'strongly rumours' The 1975. Insert your own eye emoji here.

Whatever you were expecting from The 1975, it probably wasn't 'People'

They're back with the first single from 'Notes on a Conditional Form', and it's Really Quite Something.
