Idles have announced plans for a brand new live album

Idles have announced plans for a brand new live album.

Titled 'A Beautiful Thing: IDLES Live at Le Bataclan', it'll arrive on 6th December, and was recorded at the Paris venue in December of last year.

Vocalist Joe Talbot explains: "Our show at Bataclan was the end of a very long journey for us. On that tour we learnt so much about ourselves, each other and the audiences we have grown with over the past 10 years. That show was nothing short of catharsis and nothing more than love. We love what we do and the people who have carried us here, there was no hiding that at Bataclan and we are so very grateful that the moment was captured in all its glory, love and fatigue. Long live the open minded and long live the moment."

It's being previewed by a clip featuring the band performing 'Mother', taken from debut album 'Brutalism'. You can check that out below.

The band are set to hit the road this December, including their biggest headline show to date at London's Alexandra Palace. The dates read:

December
2 Glasgow Barrowland
3 Glasgow Barrowland
4 Manchester Academy
5 Leeds O2 Academy
7 London Alexandra Palace

Mystery Jets: "You never know what the future holds"

At the back end of last year, Mystery Jets were all prepped to drop their brand new album. Then they weren’t. Six months later and a band-member down, they’re back on track (pretty much) and ready to go.

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
