!!! have announced their new album ‘Wallop’, and a UK tour

!!! have announced their eighth album, ‘Wallop’.

The full-length is due on 30th August via Warp Records, and preceded by new single ‘Serbia Drums’.

Recorded over the past year in lead singer Nic Offer’s Brooklyn apartment, “our process was to get loose and get into uncharted territory,” he says.

"We're not the kind of band that sits down and says, 'Let's make a record now,'" producer and multi-instrumentalist Rafael Cohen continues. "We just keep going, which is good because it leads to less of a narrative for each album."

The band have also confirmed a world tour in support of the album, including the following UK shows:

NOVEMBER
25 Huddersfield, UK @ The Parish
26 Manchester, UK @ Gorilla
27 Leeds, UK @ The Wardrobe
28 York, UK @ The Crescent
29 London, UK @ EartH
30 Bristol, UK @ Trinity

DECEMBER
01 Brighton, UK @ Concorde 2

At the back end of last year, Mystery Jets were all prepped to drop their brand new album. Then they weren’t. Six months later and a band-member down, they’re back on track (pretty much) and ready to go.

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
