Happyness are back with their new single, 'Vegetable'

Happyness are back with their new single, 'Vegetable'.

Arriving alongside a load of tour dates, the song marks their first new music in three years, and an early teaser from their soon-to-be-announced new album.

Jonny Allan explains: “A phrase that Ash [Kenazi] says the whole time after crazy-party-nights is “I’m as great as I am because I destroyed myself", and I think a vegetable is like that. Because it’s been a while since we wrote it, we’ve done a lot of living and had... quite a good time... but when we wrote it quite fresh off the back of the band-thing breaking up and having to look very specifically at all of the shit that had led us to having to make a lot of life changes and I think it’s a bit of a destructive triumph vibe. Like a pheonix from the fucking ashes vibe.”

Check out 'Vegetable' below, and catch the duo live at the following:

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
