Grimes has announced her new album ‘Miss_Anthropocene’, and says there might be an EP beforehand too

Grimes has announced her new album, ‘Miss_Anthrop0cene’.

Posting on Twitter, she says the record is “a concept album about the anthropomorphic Goddess of climate change: A psychedelic, space-dwelling demon/beauty-queen who relishes the end of the world.”

She goes on to describe the music as being “mostly ethereal nu metal”, saying she might drop an EP or a few more singles it arrives because “I know a lot of people miss the synths.”
