Gorillaz take to US telly for an unmissable performance of ‘Aries’

Technology eh?! Mad eh?! Case in point: Gorillaz taking to US telly last night (May 19th) for a special performance of recent track ‘Aries’

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and as noted by the host as he introduced their performance, it was the first time Damon Albarn has duetted with one of the animated band in a live setting. Teaming up with 2-D for a special performance of the track, it’s a corker

‘Aries’ (originally also featuring Peter Hook and Georgia), is one of a number of tracks that have been unveiled by Gorillaz over the past few months as a part of their ‘Song Machine’ series - the latest track revealed being ‘How Far’, a tribute to late drummer Tony Allen featuring both Tony and Skepta
