Gerard Way has released a new tune penned with his former My Chem bandmate, Ray Toro

Gerard Way has dropped a new single, ‘Getting Down the Germs’.

The song was written with alongside his former My Chemical Romance bandmate, guitarist Ray Toro, as well as Doug McKean and Sara Andon.

It follows on from recent comeback track 'Baby You're A Haunted House’, which he also wrote with another ex-band bud - bassist Mikey Way.

Interesting stuff, huh?

The standalone tracks are the first proper musical offering from the former frontman in quite a while, with his solo album ‘Hesitant Alien’ arriving in 2014.
