Sizzling Leeds trio Far Caspian have unveiled an intimate new video for latest cut ‘Finding My Way Home’
Following the chaps on the road, around the house and more - it’s an insight into a busy year for a band who’ve spent the past few months supporting the likes of Indoor Pets, whenyoung and Her’s. Now ready to strike out on their own, it’s easy to see why.
Describing the track in a recent Track By Track with yours truly around their debut EP ‘Between Days’, frontman Joel Johnston described ‘Finding My Way Home’ as “about leaving your hometown, friends you've grown up with and family”.
Specifically talking about the video itself, Joel explained: “We shot a load of footage on an old camcorder over the last few months when we were doing support shows and I cut it all together for the music video to 'Finding My Way Home'. It's a sweet sentiment to have as it shows how much fun we've had together travelling around and playing these songs. We've all had some pretty rough times this year in different ways but being able to get through it together and forget about what's going on has helped us all a serious amount”.
Far Caspian’s only confirmed show as it stands is a slot at next year’s Live At Leeds (returning on May 4th), though we can bet all the gold in our pockets there’ll be more nights a-coming. The band also feature in The Hype List 2019, the home of all the buzziest acts we’re excited about in the year ahead. So if that’s not a sign we love them, then we don’t know what is.
