Diet Cig have announced their second album, 'Do You Wonder About Me?'

Diet Cig have announced the release details of their forthcoming second album.

Titled 'Do You Wonder About Me?', the full-length is set for release on 1st May via Frenchkiss. The news comes alongside the second track from the record, 'Thriving'.

“'Thriving' is a cathartic, campy release of feelings," the duo explain. Its about the duality of absolutely THRIVING without someone but also desperately wanting them to notice you doing so. Inspired by the melodrama of reality TV and musical theater, we wanted the song to bounce back and forth between a lavish personal anthem and the anguish of feeling forever beholden to others opinions.”

Diet Cig hit the UK at the end of next month for an album release show at London's Rough Trade East before playing shows in Bristol, Brighton, Manchester and London.

The dates read:

April
30 London, Rough Trade East (instore/album release show)

May
2 Bristol, Rough Trade
4 Brighton, The Hope and Ruin
5 Manchester, YES
6 London, Camden Assembly
