Charli XCX and Christine and the Queens have teamed up for a brand new banger, 'Gone'

Iconic pop futurist.

That's what the press gumf that heralds the arrival of Charli XCX's latest track describes her as, and on the strength of said banger, nobody is likely to argue.

Joining forces with Queen of the Dance Christine and the Queens, 'Gone' arrives with a wig snatching new video, which features the duo tied down to a white Mercedes. The symbolism!

You can check out the clip below.

It's the latest taster of forthcoming album 'Charli', which also features collabs with Lizzo, Haim, Troye Sivan, Brooke Candy, CupcakKe, Big Freedia, Sky Ferreira, Clairo and Yaeji. It's set to arrive on 13th September, and will be followed up with a load of live shows.

Charli and Christine will be joining up again on Beats 1 this coming Monday, 22nd July to talk about the creation of the track as part of the latest installment of The Candy Shop.

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
