Blossoms have launched their own weekly podcast, the Blossoms Pubcast

Blossoms have announced the launch of a new weekly podcast.

The Blossoms Pubcast is based at The Blossoms pub that gave the band their name in Stockport, with the first episode available now.

“Welcome to the award-winning* Blossoms Pubcast,” reads the blurb, “recorded live with band members Tom, Charlie, Josh, Joe and Myles from The Blossoms pub on the A6 in Stockport.

“Each week, the lads greet you into their local for a swift half, top laugh and all kinds of rum malarkey. There's tall tales, sound advice, crank calls, and the ‘Sixth Blossom’ - Charlie's Granddad John. It's a bit like Cheers... but set in Shaw Heath rather than Boston. Enjoy!

*100% school attendance record, 2005.”

The launch arrives ahead of a summer of festivals for the band, including Reading & Leeds, Community Festival, Parklife and Benicàssim. They’re also playing their biggest headline gig to date at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park Stadium on 22nd June.

Feelin' hypersonic: Sam Fender

Sam Fender is a man on a mission. Already beating current ‘biggest noise on the block’ Lewis Capaldi to a Brit Award, as his debut album nears its much-anticipated arrival, the sky really is the limit for an artist not short of stuff to say.
