Beach Riot have inked a new record deal with Alcopop! Records.
The Brighton fuzz-poppers are celebrating the news with the release of their new single ‘Tune In, Drop Out’, out today (Thursday, 27th February).
“’Tune In, Drop Out’ is about rejection," they explain. "It's about the freedom to do what you want, and it's ultimately about just buy our fucking sh*t, sing our f*cking songs, and come to our f*cking gigs and go nuts because no one reads this sh*t anyways.”
Of the signing, Alcopop!'s Jack Clothier says: “'Beach Riot's songs are full of an infectious energy that is just so f*cking moresome that when they came toting some high quality pop smashers we couldn't say no. Fused together via that classic Brighton meets South American culture clash (Argentinian horse farming's loss is Alcopop!'s gain), we're very excited to begin a journey with this band that should see us all retire with pockets drenched in gold and speedboats in the drive. There's so much more to come.”
