Alfie Templeman has dropped his new EP, 'Sunday Morning Cereal'

Alfie Templeman has dropped his new EP, 'Sunday Morning Cereal'.

Arriving via Chess Club, it'll comes alongside a brand new video for 'Stop Thinking (About Me)'. The clip was filmed on iPhone as part of Apple's #shotoniphone worldwide campaign, for which he was 'handpicked from a global shortlist of emerging artists'. Well done Alfie, etc etc!

Talking about the EP, Alfie explains: “There’s a lot of RnB and Indie coming together in this record. I wanted to experiment a little more with groovy drum beats and ‘90s hip hop synths while keeping the indie slacker vibe of my first EP.”

“Recording this was a big milestone for me. I was in a bit of an emotional frenzy from leaving school but I was just as excited to move on and face full-time musicianship, too. It was the last time I’d write songs sat in the classroom while I was meant to be learning surds or something in Maths. There was a lot of butterflies floating around my stomach just thinking about how life was about to change so much in so little time.”

You can check out the 'Sunday Morning Cereal' EP, and watch the video for 'Stop Thinking (About Me)', below.

Mystery Jets: "You never know what the future holds"

At the back end of last year, Mystery Jets were all prepped to drop their brand new album. Then they weren’t. Six months later and a band-member down, they’re back on track (pretty much) and ready to go.

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world. For Aussie popster Toni Watson, the journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
