The Goon Sax's album influences playlist

Brisbane band The Goon Sax are gearing up to release their new album, 'We're Not Talking' on 14th September via Wichita. To celebrate, Riley, James and Louis are offering up a peek behind the scenes with this here album influences playlist, featuring cuts from David Bowie, The B-52’s, The Raincoats, The Rapture and loads more.

"We picked the songs in this little playlist for a couple of reasons," the trio explain. "Some are references we sent to James who recorded our album before we went in, they might seem irrelevant to the song because they were generally just specific instrument tones. Some of the other songs were just general references, and then there's a lot on there too that either inspired She Knows or feels in some way connected to it in our heads. Hope you enjoy listening!!"
