[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]"I watched Jackass again the other night, and now I wanna shove a toy car up my arse." Those are the words of Jordan Cardy, aka Rat Boy, and they're pretty indicative of how seriously he takes himself (not very, in case that wasn't clear).
Sitting on a small strip of grass in North London, he and his bandmates - Harry, Liam and Noah - are soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the local wildlife, occasionally letting out cries of, "Look how cool that dog is!"
Their debut album 'SCUM' is due for imminent release and there are plenty of nerves all round. "It's really scary; you can't do anything about it. The album's there, it's out of your hands," says Noah, to murmurs of agreement all round.
"They [Warner, the band's record label] have been really good. They've put us in the studio and let us do what we want. But now we actually have to sell a record! So it's definitely a bit scarier now," Jordan elaborates. "It's a first record, so we've got all these songs that are out there that no-one's got on an album, and we need to put them on there because people like the older shit. It's good to have the first stuff we did, but it's also good to have a load of new stuff as well. That means it's hard to get a record that flows all together, with all the different influences from those two years."[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width="stretch_row
