Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds announce new album ‘Ghosteen’ - out next week

Turns out if you want an answer from an artist, just ask - as one fan has discovered with Nick Cave confirming details of a brand new Bad Seeds album.

Out next week, the news came about from Cave’s Red Hand Files newsletter (where he answers fan questions on a regular basis), with ‘Ghosteen’ marking Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ first album since 2016’s 'Skeleton Tree'.

Confirmed as a double album, Cave describes the songs on the first side as “the children” while the second side are “their parents” - with ‘Ghosteen’ as a whole ‘a migrating spirit’.
