Dork Jukebox: The Lemon Twigs, Grizzly Bear, PINS and more
It's been a difficult one this week. We've been hit with the loss of Linkin Park's Chester Bennington at the age of 41, and that makes everything else here quite bittersweet. There are a lot of brilliant singers in our playlist, but there was only one Chester. We'll miss him.

On a sweeter note, our Jukebox this week sees a load of new bands we love sat beside some of our more established favourites. New tracks from The Lemon Twigs, Samantha Urbani, The War on Drugs, Queen Moo, Holy Family, Grizzly Bear, Everything Everything, Tyler, The Creator, and Sløtface have brightened things a little for us. We've also had videos from Freak, Childhood, Slowlights, Anna of the North, EMA, Nothing But Thieves, and Cut Copy, while a toilet went on the search for pop stardom in Broken Social Scene's clip for 'Vanity Pail Kids'.

On the live front we've had tour news from PINS, Baby in Vain, Fangclub, and Paramore, plus a double-whammy tag team from Cloud Nothings and Dinosaur Jr. We also had a surprise Brixton gig announcement from our fave Lana Del Rey, whose album 'Lust for Life' also landed this week.

Check that out in our playlist below.

Feelin' hypersonic: Sam Fender

Sam Fender is a man on a mission. Already beating current ‘biggest noise on the block’ Lewis Capaldi to a Brit Award, as his debut album nears its much-anticipated arrival, the sky really is the limit for an artist not short of stuff to say.
