Waiting for that knockout blow? Think we’ve found it.

Champion-Banger

What we’ve seen from VANT so far isn’t that far away from a scene that you’d witness in a boxing ring on a Saturday night in East London. Out of the blocks in a flash, they’ve unleashed hook after hook of dense uncompromising rock, bursting from step to step with a flash and pausing for breath only when the damage is well and truly done. It makes them one of the best fighters, but to make it as a champion you have to take it that one step further.

That’s where 'Karma Seeker' comes in. Unlike the appetisers we’ve had before, this is the main course. Strutting with confidence and bravado, it flitters between psychedelic pop swoons and unhinged garage flourishes with brutal efficiency - utilising time like it was a secret dagger they’ve been hiding this whole time.

There’s more to this fighter than the strength of its punches. Get that championship belt ready, VANT are coming for it. Jamie Muir

Tones And I: Top of the Pops

Tones And I is a name that has taken over radio airwaves since unexpected smash ‘Dance Monkey’ flew to the Number 1 spot around the world, and stuck there for bloody ages. However quick it felt for, well, everyone - for Aussie popster Toni Watson her journey from the busking unknown was really somethin’ else.
