Banger

Ask a stupid question, the saying goes, and you’ll get a stupid answer. Quite why The Magic Gang would need to ask how they’re going to compete is beyond most mortal minds, but with their new single they’re providing the solution for themselves.

Their first for soon-to- be ex-Maccabee Felix White’s YALA label, and produced by brother Hugo, it’s a refined take on the Brighton band’s trademark style. Easy rolling, packed with melody and sounding huge, we should be asking how anyone else is expected to keep up.
