Noonie Bao is on a charge. Fast establishing herself as a genuine alt-pop name to watch, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ does nothing to diminish her rise.

Deft of touch and subtle of hook, it’s the sort of track which convincingly insists it has no designs on anything as crass as unflinching devotion, while at the same time planting ear-worm like flourishes undetected.

With a diamond cutting vocal and a vibe fresher than citrus punch, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ is the kind of put down that’s addictive enough to persuade even the most pessimistic to keep coming back for more.
