Everything Everything have been Everywhere Everywhere this summer. Playing around the globe and almost every festival going, you’d forgive the Mancunian melody weavers if they’d want to lounge back and take a few weeks off. Yet they’ve come back with ‘I Believe It Now’, an ode to those summer evenings they’ve soundtracked and quite possibly their most immediate and catchy release to date.

From the sultry synth grooves and cutting guitar licks of the first 20 seconds, you know you’re in for a true pounding ride through celebratory evening screams. The vibrant and distorted breaks that swung through their acclaimed recent LP ‘Get To Heaven’ have been Tame Impala-ed so to speak, bouncing straight into frame and making ‘I Believe It Now’ the ultimate summer-comedown for those looking for one last breakdance on a muddy field in the middle of nowhere.

It reaches for the stars when Everything Everything already hold the galaxy, tipping their hat to the next chapter of their already rapturous career in a manner that leaves us wanting that next record right bloody now. We know they’re off to record a new record, and there’s no better way to leave us than what they lay out in under 4 minutes here.

Everything Everything, you’ve given us Everything this summer - and boy, we already are desperate for more. Jamie Muir
