It's been far too long since Cashmere Cat last released his own blend of squeaky electronica, but with 'Wild Love' we can forgive him for taking his time.

Enlisting everyone's favourite R&B swooner The Weeknd and recent Kanye-collaborators Francis and the Lights, it's an instant classic - and the first to be taken from the Norwegian producer's yet-to-be released debut album, also titled 'Wild Love'.

Abel Tesfaye's emotional croon paired with Cashy Cat's glitchy, minimal production makes for the perfect composition to ease you into the day - like a hearty hug from a grandma you've not seen for a few years.

It's not a track that gets you straight away, but after two or three listens you won't be able to get the barely-there beat and captivating falsetto lyrics out of your head. It's an understated classic.Ben Jolley

Feelin' hypersonic: Sam Fender

Sam Fender is a man on a mission. Already beating current ‘biggest noise on the block’ Lewis Capaldi to a Brit Award, as his debut album nears its much-anticipated arrival, the sky really is the limit for an artist not short of stuff to say.
