Anteros - Call Your Mother
Published: 4:43 pm, August 13, 2018Words: Jake Hawkes.

‘Call Your Mother' is the latest shimmering indie-pop banger from Anteros. It's also good advice if you get too giddy after hearing the track for the first time, we had to have a sit-down and call ours, at least.

Opening with a swaggering bass line and quickly swelling to giant proportions, the song takes everything we love about Anteros and turns it up to 11. With a chorus that'll spin around your head for days and guitars that'll have you dancing even when you're stone cold sober, this really is one of the band's best tracks yet and one that raises excitement for their upcoming album to fever pitch.

‘Call Your Mother' is that moment of pure euphoria at the start of a festival set, it's 2 am at a house party when everyone gets a second wind, it's Christmas when you're still young enough to have trouble sleeping. In short, it's bursting with energy, and it's absolutely bloody brilliant.
